Following our last insight we’re pleased to announce the handover of this key warehouse expansion for an International Ingredient Supplier ahead of schedule, just six weeks after installation began.
Our successful tender focused on maximising storage and efficiency with comprehensive consultation on integral safety systems.
WHY Z-BEAMS?
Engaged in the early design phase we were able to consult on the optimum solution from the load weight of the concrete slab to the size of the warehouse. This allowed us to maximise usage of the full warehouse.
STORAGE & EFFICIENCY SPECIFICATION
- 3300 Pallet Racking positions up to 15m in height for a variety of pallet sizes
- 8 Beam Levels per bay complete with Pallet Support Bars
- P&D beams (Pickup and Deposit Stations) are added to assist in load handling between trucks

- Wire Guidance for VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) trucks

The increased volume of pallet racking bays is key to the client’s strategy to expand operations in the UK and Europe. Teccon’s early involvement benefited the client in timescale, cost and end result.
Because Teccon were engaged at the early design phase, all aspects have been consider and have been able to maximise storage and efficiency, consulting on the optimum solution from the concrete slab to the size of structure. Being in control of these variables and pulling on our experience, we can mitigate any issues that may occur plus maximising the full usage of the warehouse.
